Leicester’s first Creative Scrapstore, Coming Soon!
Opening in Spring/Summer 2026, Re:Create is a repurpose-first scrap store rooted in creativity, community and circular economy values.
Based in Leicester City, we’re transforming surplus business materials and workshop offcuts into affordable, accessible resources for artists, schools, families and community groups.
Instead of sending quality materials to landfill, we’re giving them a second life - fuelling imagination, reducing waste, and making art more accessible to all.

We work with local communities, Leicester organisations, and a wide range of collaborators and commissioners - connecting and empowering people across the city.
We are passionate about sustainability and reducing waste.
We design our workshops and outreach initiatives with a focus on sustainable practices. We are committed to reducing waste, and promote an actively environmentally-conscious use of materials. With our passionate approach to recycling and upcycling, we prioritise a culture of sustainability and inspire all of our participants to adopt these values in their creative processes.
